Normally, I'm not one of those people who live for Fridays, specifically Friday afternoons and the start of the weekend.

This Friday is an exception. It's been a very tiring week, a lot of responsibility (not to mention double work), and long hours. I will be thrilled to see the backside of this week.

The hardest part of doing my boss's job is dealing with the oddball and/or legal stuff.

To wit: the employee who broke her leg on the job.

The package that remained on the delivery vehicle and was returned to the parking location. Big legal liability.

The union rep who wanted to straighten out an employee's payroll conundrum.

The employee who is off on half-pay illness, but wanted full pay for some reason.

The vehicle from a contract company with whom we do not do business pulling into the yard and parking in a way that blocked the exit.

And so on.

Boss returns Monday and I could just jump for joy. Yay!
