A funny thing happened on the way to retirement...

I found a summons for jury duty in my mailbox last night, to start the second week of November.

Combined with the three weeks of illness time I still have, it looks like my days in this chair are definitely numbered.

Let's see...70 work days minus 15 vacation days leaves 55 work days left. And I have no idea if I'll actually be called into the court for jury duty or not.

Wow. It's kind of scary and exhilarating at the same time.
