2011-11-03 9:52 AM Only 50 Days Left Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (8) Yesterday on the way home I got my hair cut by my favorite stylist. It looks really nice, not like the time before when I was too impatient to wait for her to be available and had someone else do it. That person gave me one of those "old lady" scalp jobs.
This morning before work -- dark and cold it was -- I cleaned out the refrigerator, because today is trash day and I wanted stuff not to linger in there for another week (no nasty back-of-the-fridge science experiments, thank you). Later in the morning I completed the online Jury Duty Information presentation and printed the certificate. Monday is the day I have to report, front and center, for the cattle call. Having done the exercise on line will let me skip the long boring orientation. Also I have a package to wrap and address. Must find clear tape and permanent marker in the untidy pile on my desk at home. It needs to get mailed now because it's going overseas and I have no idea how long it takes by slow boat. I'll hit the post office on Saturday morning. After work today I have to pick up the regular box of organic fruits and veggies that I get every week. Then home to put them away and make dinner. I begin to understand why retired people say they are as busy as ever. The list of tasks just gets longer and longer. Read/Post Comments (8) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
