2011-11-14 7:50 AM Back to Work Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (5) Woke up this morning rested, refreshed and ready to tackle a Monday morning at work. Baby, it's cold outside. The thermometer read 35 chilly degrees and the cat came in from outside in a rush, all fluffed up. I think she was happy to get in out of the cold.
I made fresh chicken soup over the weekend, intending to have enough for lunches this week, but it turned out awful. I don't know how I managed to ruin chicken soup (cooked the noodles too long?), but I did. It's thick and nearly tasteless. Putting brussels sprouts in it was a bad idea (and no celery). Oh, well, c'est la vie. Even the cat doesn't like it, so I guess I'll pick out the chicken pieces and the brussels sprouts and toss the rest. Looking at the countdown window, there are 39 days left. Question of the day: What actor/comedian never got any older than 39? (Hint: he played the violin.) Continuing to clean out the office and the desk drawers. So far this morning things are pretty quiet. Let's hope it stays that way. ![]() see more Lolcats and funny pictures, and check out our Socially Awkward Penguin lolz!
