The usual errands--groceries, pharmacy, Trader Joe's. I shop every Saturday morning at about the same time, run into the same people, we say hello and chat a bit. The stores' personnel, too. Rather like a loosely connected peripheral community.

Then to the post office to mail something too important to leave in the house mailbox, what with all the wind and rain and yet more (cold) wind.

And afterward to the Dollar Store, to buy tablecloth, napkins, plates, flatware, and small invitation cards. I guess Baskin Robbins would be the place to get an ice cream cake, and pizza can be ordered to be delivered.
