Resolved: I will pay bills today, no excuses.
I've been putting it off now for several days (except for the mortgage, which I always pay early) and the time has come.
It's not the paying that bothers me; it's the organizing beforehand. I've been tossing notices and receipts into the box where I keep the ledger, for the time when it all has to come out and be dealt with.
Well, the time has come. Onward, into the fog ofwar bills.
