2012-09-21 3:53 PM iPad Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (4) I have decided I really don't like my iPad. Sure, I love the technology and apps, but the glare on the screen is driving me crazy.
There doesn't ever seem to be a place where I can relax and enjoy it, but what the light is bouncing off the screen and I'm tilting it this way and that, trying to get a glare-free view. Drat. Plus it's heavier than I expected, and after 30 minutes or so of holding it up, my wrists get tired. So I have to find something like the arm of the chair or a pillow on my lap to rest it on. The cat objects to the latter. Mostly I have to use it at my desk, where the light is just right and the iPad is supported. If I had wanted to be chained to my desk, I would have just stayed with my laptop. Oh, well. Maybe some day they will come out with anti-glare matte screens like the Kindle, which never has a problem with glare. Am I sounding like an elderly curmudgeon or what?
