While reading late at night in bed, he falls asleep, book still in his hands. His home has a bedbug infestation, and the little critters think that a nice book binding is just the place to sequester themselves.
Person returns the book to the library, all unaware of its hidden passengers. The next person checks the book out from the library and takes home more than she expected. Not only is the book free of charge, so is its six-legged inhabitant, a bedbug (or two or threee) delighted to have found a new bed, a new home. Thank goodness for my kindle, with which I can borrow e-books, without piggyback extras. No bugs. Read/Post Comments (7) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
