2013-01-29 12:42 PM Totally Painless, As Always Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (4) Well, the crown (temporary) went on, as always my dentist performed a painless procedure. Her assistant who took the impressions was a nonstop talker. My dentist likes to hum while she works. I guess there's more than one way to distract the patient.
Now the novocaine or lidocaine (or whatever they use) is wearing off, and I'm somewhat achey and sore, but nothing that I can't handle. I watched President Obama's speech on immigration just a little while ago and some of the subsequent commentary. I love the way Senator Marco Rubio and Rush Limbaugh were critiquing his speech before he had even made it. They seem to be saying, "Don't bother me with reality; my mind is made up." Now I'm going to distract myself from dental concerns further by reading about Sir Francis Walsingham and the trial and execution of Mary Stuart. It will either be fascinating or put me to sleep. Still feeling OK. Hooray for good dentists! May they live long and prosper. (Thinking of you, Rambler.) Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
