Mostly over the flu, except for the occasional cough and this neverending laryngitis. This is certainly not the first time I've had it, but I don't ever remember it lingering on like this day after day.

I have to present my paper this morning, and they will just have to suffer with my awful voice. I'll push it as hard as I can, because I can rest it afterward.

I've tried everything--all the remedies I could find on WebMD and all the folk cures my friends have suggested. Nothing has worked.

Wouldn't it be weird if it never went away?
