Good news: my roommate is finally getting a car of her own. Sharing a car has been awkward at times.

Good news: my income tax refund arrived, just in time for me to use it for car service and repair (needs a brake job) which is scheduled for tomorrow.

Good news: the weather has finally warmed up, after nights hovering around 40-42 and day times clawing and scratching to top out at 60 or so. It's actually 68 right now! Feels wonderful.

Good news: the birds have discovered the bird feeders and spread the news to all their friends. We now have an enormous flock of finches, plus a sizeable number of hummingbirds (ever try to count them?) and cowbirds and doves picking up the bits dropped on the ground from the hanging feeders.

Good news: It's dinnertime!!
