Hullo and welcome!

This is where you'll find (eventually) find links to fic by Mechaieh, a/k/a Bronze Ribbons. (Most of it will be posted to either Moonshadow or Skyehawke.) Possibly also the fic itself, but I haven't yet tested if/how well this site handles long posts. IIRC, I'm pretty sure it's not equipped for a mass migration from fandom (and doesn't come with the bells and whistles many in fandom would want), but for now, it seems like a reasonable place to hang out.

My reasons for setting up this journal are the same as those stated at my general journal.

Why two journals, you may wonder? Many of my readers are either interested only in fandom-related posts or wholly uninterested in fandom. (Or, looking at it from a different angle, I post often on religion -- I'm an active Unitarian Universalist -- and some of my readers are either interested only in those posts or eager to avoid them entirely.) I tried keeping a single journal for a while but eventually realized I had been pulling my punches in both directions, which was not going to lead to anything good or true.

I think of it as separate rooms in the same house: the general journal is the music room, and the fandom journal is the lab where I mix together explosives and speak in tongues. You're welcome to wander between rooms, of course, or to stay put on one of the pouffes, or to stop in every third moon -- whatever best floats your boat. I hope you'll enjoy what you find here!

I'm neither particularly functional nor fluent in French, other than owning a decent dictionary, so suggestions, corrections, and amplifications are most welcome. The title means "Running Around in the Sunflowers" (song by Marc Lavoine).
