2005-01-25 11:41 PM The Devilish Grin Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Worried Read/Post Comments (1) I love my kidz. Apart from the usual frantic running around in the morning getting everyone out of the house and the same frantic running around trying to get them to sleep at a decent hour, they truly are gifts from God. It never fails, there is always a beautiful story or memory embedded in my brain every day. Today was no exception. For some reason, Spencer is fascinated by DVDs. No, I'm not talking about watching them on TV, I'm talking about playing with them, reading them, holding them, etc. Whenever we put a DVD into the player, he screams for the box. The Disney ones or any kid ones he goes crazy for. He opens the cover up, "reads" the inside and outside, then tries to open up and play with the actual DVD that may still be in there (if it is a two dvd set). He's actually ruined some that he gets a hold of when we aren't looking. What I've had to do is basically hide the DVDs in a CD wallet upstairs so he won't play with them. Today I left the wallet within his grasp. I was getting the other kids off to bed and he was the last one. I had Sean on my bed helping him put on his pjs. Steve says what is Spencer smiling about? I looked over and I saw Spencer with the biggest devilish grin I had ever seen! He had his hands on this wallet and was ever so slowly about to take it and open it up. We laughed so hard. He just kept grinning even wider. I told him to take his hands off that right away. Of course he just froze and smiled, huger than I had ever seen. Steve still didn't know what was in there and asked why is he smiling like that? I said, "There's DVDs in there!" We laughed so hard. It was so cute. Well, maybe you had to be there.
