Thank God there are still some nice people in the world!  I received some Valentine's today and they really cheered me up.  One was so cute, it was a Love is valentine.  Here is the other one.  I was so surprised.  I had no idea there were LOTR Valentine cards.  lol.

I was pretty peeved yesterday. It was raining all day.  I made my way to the library at the usual time and dropped my huge umbrella into this bin in the front foyer of the library. I thought it would be safe there.  But no . . .  I was so furious.  When I left around 4:45 there was no umbrella in sight.  I could tell right away it was gone b/c it's one of those golf style umbrellas and it stands out because it says UCLA all the way around.  I've had that umbrella since law school.  UGH.  I had to run in the rain and got all wet.  You know like people you see running in the rain without an umbrella?  I always wonder why people would do that.  Well, now I know.  It could be that their umbrella got stolen and they had nothing else to do but run.
