Just as I'm starting to second guess the cabin idea, my principal lets me know that she and her family will be moving out of their rental in a month or two. Said rental is owned by Betty, owner of a cute gift shop on the island.

Then I'm in physical therapy this afternoon, and Dyan my PT says she knows of a possible rental, hush hush and all. It's the same one! Apparently she's somehow related to Betty, and will put in a good word.

I send all supplication to the Island Rental God. Oh hear my plea, and accept this, my offering, Oh Ye Who Shall Decide. I offer myself to you as sacrifice if you can get me an island rental without any ookiness involved.
