2006-12-30 9:24 PM Felines in America: Part Two, Millenium Approaches Previous Entry :: Next Entry Read/Post Comments (2) Or, When the Cats Do Random Stupid Things that make Mommy want to join a cult.
Cat Box Containment The cats randomly eat things like pieces of hair or plant. Then they poop in their box, but can't get the last piece of poop to detach. They leave the box, scraping their hinder parts on the carpet square that is their "doormat". Mommy finds the poops later. Door to Nowhere Buck sits at the door, any door that leads outside. If Mommy tries to open the door, Buck tries to put his head out. Mommy says "baaaaaaack." Buck thinks it's funny. Once or twice Buck has pulled this on unsuspecting guests, which isn't funny, because Buck has no claws and can't survive a raccoon attack. (Mommy got the cats that way - the last owner took out the claws on all four feet, Buck's and Molly's. Some people are sick.) We play the door game whether Mommy is coming in or going out. Happy Teeth Molly is a licker and sucker. When she is happy, really happy and purring, she licks the nap of whatever she is sleeping on and then bites and chews at it. She destroyed a polar fleece blanket this way. She doesn't understand why every sweater, the duvet cover and the sheets are not available for this very enjoyable game. Sometimes Mommy is worried she'll find holes in something precious, but so far just the polar fleece. People, don't wean your kittens too early. It's not pretty. Rugging Up Let's run down the hall, and skid on the rug in front of the door. Let's bunch it all up, and then work on bunching up the rest of the rugs in the house. We love fir floors. Redemptions Rubbing our faces along mommy's face. Putting out a paw to say "please pet me". Drooling when petted. Allowing mommy to do zerbits on bellies. Big spankings on flanks. Two cats, curled up together, asleep on the bed. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
