A friend of mine just snubbed me, I think.
We have movie days, about once a year, when we eat all manner of junk food and watch 2 or 3 movies, and talk about whatever. We planned just before Winter Break to set one up.
Today, when I said, "We still have to do a movie day!" she just kept walking past me as my body remained oriented toward her and my eyes followed her. It was a very uncomfortable 5 seconds. She has acted lately with less exuberance toward me, and hasn't treated me with her usual silly affability.
Do I ask what changed? Do I let her approach me? Do I just send her an invitation to the next movie day? We have always been really honest with each other, and we both know how to use our words.
This just hit me in the gut, and almost no social interaction hits me there anymore.
