An email from a teacher, one of the several who are coordinating taking care of our middle school staff in the aftermath of our collective loss:

George W's wife took them wonderful, homemade cinnamon rolls this morning.
Rosemary brought the cookies.
Carolyn B., Glenda, Frank & Gail tied cards & beads to the bags before school. Nancy brought beautiful glass beads. Carolyn B. wrote the card. Jan is writing the names on the cards. An anonymous donor has given us THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS (!!!!) to help pay for everything -sincere thanks to you Kate B. and I will be picking up the food @ 11:30, and putting it into the bags after that. We'll set up in the faculty room to do that part. (Elsa, Frank, Nancy, Sharon, and Jenny hauled the lunches to the McM staff room.)

Here's what we're putting in the bags:
soup (Thriftway), water(Thriftway),chocolate bar(Thriftway), cookie (Rosemary), bread (Sound Food), salad (The Rock).
