I tried to sleep out on my deck last night. Venus was so clear and piercing. The sky was velvet indigo. Castor and Pollux were out, too. The waves lapped over the rocky shore; it was just like sleeping on Da Boata dock (I put that in for camp folks - remember when we were still allowed to do that?).

I didn't sleep outside the whole night, due to back pain and a slowly deflating air mattress. But I can see myself figuring out a bed situation that would work. If I prop my knees and use my camping pad, it should be okay.

I'm breaking down and getting a storage unit. Probably said that four times in my blog already. I even found my old lock from the last time I used the storage place, so I saved myself $12 right there. I shot a new budget and it's all gonna work. Credit cards will be paid off next month, student loan goes into deferment, and the car is fixed.
