I have avoided entirely making any political decisions. I dated a prick for a while (and when I say prick, I mean hung like Jesus and twice as cute) and after we quit seeing each other, I continued to get mass-mailed, forwarded pro-Nader stuff. As much as my little enviro-geek heart loves most of what he says (none of it is evironmentally unsound, just delivered by someone most can't tolerate), I don't want propaganda from anyone emailed to me. These emails were long, with graphics, and sometimes had movies attached. The worst part? He had quit emailing me personal messages at all. I asked that he quit the forwards, and when he didn't, I put a filter on his address that sends his mails directly to the trash. I told him I had done it, and that he could call me if he ever had a personal thing to say to me.

I'm not usually a stone cold bitch, but damn, I just couldn't handle the salvos of wayward emails!

So, in addition to that whole business, I am finding the entire political arena to be just that: an arena show, as always, complete with the hurdy-gurdy and calliope sounds of people attempting to convince me they'll do things they can't possibly do because they won't be able to overpower the juggernaut that is the entrenched Washington political system.

Boy, lots of big words for a small person this early in the day.

The summary? I have no idea who I'll vote for, but it won't be McCain. It probably won't be Nader, though I would vote for him if I thought he had a snowball's chance. (Yeah, he's a weirdo, but he's a weirdo I understand. And as a person who acts like he has a touch of the Aspergers Syndrome, that makes him one of my people by default.) So, that leaves Obama, the only person remotely near my political bent who has a chance at all. Wasn't so sprung on Hillary, but I would take her over McCain.

Only if she showed me her dick.
