Washington State landlord/tenant law says she must inform me, within ten days of vacating the unit, of what money, if any, she will keep from my deposit. Ten days was today. Not that I want to ever deal with her again, mind you. I just wanted closure from her. Getting no correspondence makes me wonder what's up her sleeve.
Part B: My doctor told me today that he is buying into a practice in Tucson, and that this would be our last appointment. It's a great opportunity and I'm really happy for him! On the flip side, I had to call around and get another doc. I'll see a new person in December, a woman this time. She graduated in 1997 or something, which means she's up on the medication that I am taking. Older docs aren't hip to the off-label uses, you know. We'll see how this all goes in December. Roman Numeral III: My car needs a clutch. I put in a brand new one only two and a half years ago. This car is not the first clutch car I've had, and I've never blown through a clutch, not even on my super cranky 1966 VW bus. Not even. Makes that offer from the dealer to buy back my car seem pretty appealing (only temporarily, though). They offer to buy them back at 110% of Blue Book value, minus needed repairs. Hmmm. I like my car, but I wish I'd gotten the six-cylinder model. Even if I did sell it back, I'd only get about 70% of what I paid for it, and that wouldn't quite be enough to get myself back into a comparable car. New clutch, here I come. Numero quatro: I need more work. I'm calling the relay service to see how I become a video relay interpreter. Some of my colleagues do it, and they like it. We'll see.
