1. Put artificial tree together.

2. Add ornaments wrapping the hooks around the branches to keep them from *falling* off.

3. Tie top of tree to crown molding with fishing line to keep tree from *falling* over.

4. Use a foot activated push button to turn lights on and off on the tree.

5. Place said button under the tree skirt.

6. Watch cat jump up/out/around tree as he rolls over hidden push button and the lights go on and off and on and off and on making cat very confused.


I wonder if our neighbors think we are sending morse code messages with our tree lights.
