Today the temperature was 76 degrees, 30% humidity and not a cloud in the sky. It is February 27. Days like this during this time of year are part of why I live here.

I called my good friend in DC. She has lived there 18 years. We have lived here 18 years (this time). We figure that she has probably had a total of several years of yucky winter weather while living in DC in contrast to my 18 months and counting of hurricane recovery time since Katrina.

It is all in how you look at the glass of water.
