I have been so happy since I have been here. It has taken me a long time to get use to being able to do whatever I want to the house. I found myself being afraid to do some things, like paint or decorate or buy something I really loved. This whole experience has been liberating. I take care of my own bills, I clean anyway I want. Mom, Jodi and I built a shelf for the window in the kitchen. We have painted and moved furniture. I have had a ball! I bought a puppy, a Lhasa Apso. She is soooo cute. She is such a comic, she will run a few steps and lay down all four legs splayed out, then jump up and run some more.
I am taking two online courses through the local college, one is keyboarding. I would write more if I could type better and typing better will make my skills more marketable. The other is how to write your life story. I had no Idea writing had so many rules! Especially when writing dialog. That’s my current assignment. Writing dialog, I just can’t seem to get started. I write and post before I read anyone else’s posts. I want to keep things original and I’m afraid if I read someone else’s first then I might inadvertently copy something or a pattern of something.
I have decided to forgo looking for a full time job, unless I happen to get one I’ve applied for. The hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7p to 7 a. That would fit right into my school plans. I want to go to school full time in the winter.
