I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us! |

2003-12-27 9:05 PM Malice, jealousy and disappointment These are the ingredients of the "very strong" poison Capt. Hook pours into Peter Pan's medicine. It has no known antidote. I just came back from the new Peter Pan movie, and I recommend you all run out and see it without delay. In addition to enthralling visuals, the movie takes all the Disney-fied sap, but none of the sweetness, out of the story, and puts the sex back in. No, it's not raunchy. But one of the points of the original Barrie play was that Wendy was becoming a woman and Peter refused to become a man. Growing up wasn't all about it being "beneath my dignity to climb a tree."
