Crime boards and blogs all over will be paying tribute to Dennis Lynds, who died Friday. I just wanted to say he was one of the nicest, kindest, most professional, and funniest men I ever knew; one of those people you wish lived down the block, not on the other side of the country, so you could just hang out. We hung out at conventions; Dennis and his wife, Gayle, were always two of the reasons I played poker late into the night. I'll miss him.
