me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Keeping up appearances

Mine, I mean. In case you feel the need to commune in the physical, as opposed to cyber, world, I'll be at:

Tues. May 16, 7pm
Partners and Crime
44 Greenwich Ave.
NY NY 10014
I'm reading as part of the launch party for HARDBOILED BROOKLYN, from Bleak House Books.

Thurs. June 8, 7pm
Weehauken Public Library
Weehauken, NJ
With Jim Fusilli, discussing MANHATTAN NOIR
This isn't up on the library website yet but they assure me it's happening

Sun. Aug. 6, 11:30 am
Palmer Vineyards in Aquebogue, NY
(on the beautiful North Fork)
with Peter Blauner, discussing crime fiction
This is the website for the series:
Writers on the Vine but the 2006 events aren't up yet. I'll update this one as I get the details.

And remember, if you have the urge to spend three weeks in October working on your writing among other writers, and hanging around with visual artists and composers, I'll be one of three Master Artists at the
Atlantic Center for the Arts. Applications are due May 26.

See you around, I hope.
