Gold butterfly picks
Orange lilies; orange one,
Purple verbena.
With loud chirps, sparrow
Claims rooftop. On eave below,
Cardinal stares, shrugs.
Gull pecks crab. Looks up,
Grabs it, flies off. Leaves behind
Uninvited crows.
