So we launched BRONX NOIR last week, at a terrific party at Partners and Crime. Thirteen of the nineteen contributors were there, as you can see; the only one present and not photographed was Rita Lakin. Sorry, Rita! Then we moved to the bar next door and drank and talked and carried on. Now, as one of the contributors said -- in fact, the very Rita Lakin who's invisible here -- everyone was either born in the Bronx, or wishes they had been. So you KNOW you all want this book. So go get it! How is the Bronx gonna kick Wall Street's ass without your help?

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.)
