Party on the pier!
Ballons, tents, hotdog vendors,
Music. Port-a-johns.
Herring gulls, starlings,
Leap from pilings, swirl away,
One mixed frantic flock.
Tug chugs by with barge
Riding high and empty but
Trailing cloud of gulls.
