me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Back in the US / back in the US / back in the, well, US

Re-entered after a pretty eventless flight from Rome. Except if you're flying out of Rome you need to know they've moved a number of airlines to the brand new Terminal 5, which is more or less in Naples. So the Rome airport now has Terminals A, B, C, and 5, which makes a nice balance to the Newark Airport train station at the other end of my trip, with its tracks 1, 4, 5 and A.

Went and sat by the river this morning, had a publishing-biz lunch date, did some laundry, picked up and went through the mail. As always, the trip's fading already. It's a good thing I love New York, because for real, I'm here.
