me in the piazza

I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us!

Yet more winners! And yet another contest.

Okay, three of you guys get ARCs off this one, because we here at Contest Central couldn't decide.

My workshop in Assisi is a great idea -- meet their maker, indeed! -- but Michael's already a winner. However, Chris's Taj Mahal takeoff from that, the seduction routine, was so Bill and Lydia, it's got to win.

But: ed's ivory-billed-woodpecker/bones-of-Lydia's-ancestors ideas are both fabulous. In fact the bones of the ancestors could be the seed of a future book... So ed wins too.

And the late entry, Matthew, for Rancho Obsesso! Cracked me up.

So, you guys, send me your mailing addresses, and the books will start their trips to your doors.

And speaking of books, ed's comment about Robert Louis Stevenson being one of Bill's favorite authors is probably spot on, and got me thinking. Thus the next contest: whom else do Bill and Lydia read?
