Two ducks float calmly
On flat, empty river. Then:
Squawk, rise, race away.
Bright day, smooth water.
Sharp steel and concrete towers
Throw smudged reflections.
In front of skyline
Tourists trade photos, same pose,
Same railing, same smile.
