For all those of you of the Christian persuasion -- though this "persuasion" thing has never seemed right to me: except for converts, and folks like my Bruderhof friends who choose adult baptism, most of us were never persuaded about our religion, just born into it, and many of us remain incompletely persuaded even as we practice; nevertheless, as I was saying -- greetings to you on this day.
