I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us! |

2009-01-11 12:13 PM In aid of unconfusing Michael Michael, one of the lucky recipients -- or, I should say, genius recipients, since these prizes were handed out for merit -- of an advance reader's copy of THE SHANGHAI MOON, emailed me asking how come he couldn't post his review on the book's Amazon.com page. You genius winners will remember that that was one of the conditions for the prize. Actually, it was the only condition: that you post a review by Feb. 5. Michael, as always well-organized and ahead of deadline, was trying to take care of business. But he was thwarted by Amazon.com. (And really, who among us hasn't been, one way or another?) The deal is, the book's on-sale date is Feb. 3. You can't post a review until then. I don't know why, because Amazon can take orders before that, though they can't ship it, so you'd think they wouldn't mind a little excitement building up. But there it is. So all you winners, go ahead and get the thing typed up and sharpen your posting fingers. And if you managed to score an ARC some other way, go ahead and do the same. Unless you hated it. Then, you didn't read any of this, and you need to go take a nap.
