Red-breasted robin
Pokes yellow beak in black dirt,
Pulls up fat brown worm.
Crimson cardinal
Cuts through blue sky to gray branch,
Preens in lemon sun.
Fluttering white moth
Lights on golden locust leaves,
Shakes two to green grass.
