I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us! |

2010-12-28 7:06 PM A great idea Had lunch with Alafair Burke at one of her favorite haunts and her buddy, Dennis the bartender, had a great idea for writers: the word/calorie diet. You can only eat as many calories in a day as the number of words you write. 500, 1000, 2000... which would mean you're REALLY writing to feed yourself. (And on the days the well's dry, at least you've accomplished something: dropped a quarter pound, say.)
