Sharp-edged shadow slides
Smoothly along rounded rock,
Creeps over crabgrass.
Yellow butterfly
Settles on green locust, sips,
Moves to dark maple.
Thin clouds, pulled by breeze,
Cover sky like pale awning
Shading the whole town.
