Twentieth Saturday
Gray glassy water.
Red Coke can floats placidly
Between brown pilings.
Single male mallard,
Without a mate this season,
Nibbling at the moss.
Some bird I don't know
Sings three notes. Repeats. Again.
I've never found it.
