Can't sit on benches.
Snow piled everywhere. Two trees
Have lost big branches.
Ice floes trapped near shore.
Beyond pilings, they slide south.
Between, water's glass.
Ice slips downriver.
Two big blackback gulls swoop, land,
Take cawing joyride.
