I'm a writer, publishing both as SJ Rozan and, with Carlos Dews, as Sam Cabot. (I'm Sam, he's Cabot.) Here you can find links to my almost-daily blog posts, including the Saturday haiku I've been doing for years. BUT the blog itself has moved to my website. If you go on over there you can subscribe and you'll never miss a post. (Miss a post! A scary thought!) Also, I'll be teaching a writing workshop in Italy this summer -- come join us! |

2014-08-03 11:53 AM Julia's farm I'm happy to report that Julia the farmer, who established a farm in the courtyard behind San Pietro four years ago, is still going strong. Every year she and her husband clear a few more rows of the earthquake debris the town stored there after the earthquake of 1997, and every year they add some fruit or vegetable or herb they hadn't grown before. This year it's melons. The grapes are coming along, and they sell eggs from the geese and the chickens. The farm now has a metal gate, not just the ancient wood one from the churchyard, and a painted sign.
