Sent out a whole passel o' stories--nine, count 'em, nine, five of them new--today and yesterday. Trying to juggle and place all these stories, when I already have five others out and don't want to get caught up in simultaneous subs, is getting to be a challenge. I need to sell something.

I keep neglecting to mention this: in the latest Locus Mr. Nick Gevers picked out "The Lethe Man" as a highlight of Say . . . why aren't we crying?. "[A] cunning account of an amnesiac infiltrator falling in dubious love." Not a Recommended Story for the month, but a nice bit of recognition nonetheless.
