You'll just have to believe its hot. It's so hot, I've had to iced down my tropical fish tank two days in a row. Its that hot. Seriously.

It is really kind of strange to see my fish react to an ice bottle. [bottle of ice water, wrapped in ziplock bag, taped to side of tank] The ice crunches a bit as it melts and he sort of wiggles, looks at it with a front, and then goes back to nuzzling it. That's how how it is!

It so hot my tropical fish is nuzzling an ice bottle.

Last weekend was hectic but worthwhile. We were up in mich to see a baptism/birthday as well as getting to see two of our good friends ordained sat morning. I'm always startled at the number of the rev's we know now. I guess its just a work hazzard of the seminary. It really has changed my perspective though on ordained folk. I guess that phrase says it all - ordained folk.

We will be saying goodbye to some new friends tomorrow as they relocate for a phd program. It's quite irksome since we really were just getting to know them. We had only inflicted 3 godzilla movies on them. I mean, really no time to re-educate them. ;)

Seriously though, it feels a bit like the rug is being pulled out from under us, but I try not to let it get to me. I mean, its not like we aren't going to be relocating ourselves in 3 to 4 months. Anyway, goodbyes are rarely final for long.

On a movie note, apparently they are filming another hitch hikers guide to the galaxy. Huh?
