So this creepy good song I had to transcribe because it doesn't exist anywhere on the net. Not sure what else to say, than it makes me think about the denial of self and/or something about christian mystism.
My Own Man by Waterworks (Dragonfly) If I had the patience of a stone I could sit beside the stream of a thousand rushing dreams Til it all came to me. And If I where as humble as a log felled by forces not my own reconcilled without a tree does not stand to be alone. No, ifs ands, or buts I'll pick myself up off the bank. understanding that our destiny was never less than to be free of all the dreams we'd like to call our own. Letting go will surely get us home. And if I had the gumption of a gust Crushing through the field of leaves I could kick up all the of dust and see the world through my breeze. And if I had the courage of a cloud soaking everything around I would pour terential floods on the deserts of our love. No ifs ands or buts I'll pick myself up off the sand understanding that our destiny was never less than to be free of all the dreams we'd like to call our own letting go will surely get us home. letting go will surely get us home. We'll fall across horizons through the trees We'll crash through every limb we could not see We'll tumble through ferous waves, spinning through the surf and spray, but once we wash ashore we will be safe. And don't forget to trust the memory of that place. If I is a waste of what I am Home is not a place it is a plan and execute the rumors in this land that make me my own man... OPM: A Libris whit537 or beren1hand, circa 2004
