This is one of those meandering entries--nothing of truly great significance, but a lot of little stuff. But isn't that what makes up the bulk of our lives--Little Stuff?

The first part of the day was busy. My company slept in a bit, then breakfasted and headed off towards Michigan. I was sorry to see them go--it was nice having people around for a couple of days.

Shortly after they left the Home Health nurse came by and allowed as how part of the incision scar was somewhat red and warm. I called the doctor and told his nurse, giving her the number of the HH nurse. Guess it's not something to be concerned about.

By mid-morning I'd walked down to the road twice--once for the paper and once for the mail. Each time I had to first catch Lady and lock her in my bedroom. She is bound and determined to go outside. When the pet sitter arrived right after lunch I was standing by the door ready to catch Lady before she could slip out. And PS was prepared to repel any outward attempts on the cat's part.

I didn't do much of anything today--too much little stuff. OD asked if I needed anything at the grocery, so I made up a list. And UPS brought two of the gifts I'd ordered. Both of these are for OD's household, so I wrapped them and put them in a bag with the grocery list.

Late in the afternoon YD came by to leave me my car. HOORAY!! Tomorrow I shall see how ready that left leg is for operating the clutch. And I shall practice, practice, practice in the driveway, then in the immediate neighborhood. I hope that by Monday (at the latest) I feel that I can drive safely. Then down to DMV to get the temporary handicapped card. And to the bank to take care of some "inside" business there. And, and, and . . . Maybe then I won't feel so isolated.

As I said--little stuff.
