Guess it's time I started making vast plans for the weekend--but so far my ideas are only half-vast.

Weather is supposed to be mild and dry, so there goes that excuse for not doing yard work.

Of course yard work is the excuse for procrastinating things like cleaning.

And so it goes.

Had a great lunch today--the Center was having something or other, and--being a women's center--it involved food. There were some yummy rolled up sandwiches with pretty little toothpicks holding them together--and identifying the ingredients. There were also Nabisco oreo brownies. Yum.

And I actually got a box to the point where I could type up a preliminary inventory! I figure it will be about Friday before I have the next one done. As long as I stay with P. I have a rough idea of what's going on. The P.R. person also has a client now in the U. S. Senate.

Last week or so I mentioned the modular houses, and the one that had arrived on the North Shore where so many of the camps got blown washed away. Both halves are happily in place, on 16 ft. (at least) pilings, and the most immediate need would seem to be steps. There are none. Yet.

The other day my calico cutie went up to Fabian and he leaned over and started washing her head. All together now--awwww.

Back to my book by the Iraqi artist telling about the 1991 war against Iraq. (And one of these days I'll remember to bring the book in here so I can tell you the title.)

Happy weekend.
