The students who are doing an internship helping Crystal get the web site up to tomorrow's speed came and visited the library and we all met. They seem nice.

And then the librarian told me she had hired herself an assistant, so there was another person to meet. Naturally, I've already forgotten her name. But I think I'll recognize her when I see her again.

When this young woman came into the library I was the only person there, and she asked for the librarian by her last name. All I know the librarian by is her first name. But, I guessed right about who it was.

My big accomplishment for the day was FINALLY getting what had been four cartons of stuff about Paulette's race for mayor into a chronological order (roughly) which was also logical. Example: I didn't stick an Issues folder between her daily calendars, or things like that. And, when I was finished it filled only three cartons! I've some more final sorting to do on her other campaigns and her community activities, and then I'll go back and get everything into acid-free file folders. I just might be done by next week!

I had snarl-free drives in both directions today. There had been one inbound, but it had been cleared by the time I got there. And I found a parking space right across from the entrance to my building.

The mail had an Asimov's with two stories in it I want to read. Good thing I finished Tess Gerritson's Gravity yesterday.
