Nap, of course.
It's still precipitating, which is cooling things off nicely. I didn't go anywhere this afternoon, and I don't think I failed to do anything urgent. Preston and Child sure do know how to write suspense. I'm currently reading Reliquary, which is a sequel to The Relic, which I read a while ago. The setting is the Museum of Natural History, and the action takes place in the underground world of New York City. I doubt I'll finish it this evening--I'm not even half way through, and I need to go to bed at a decent hour since I work tomorrow. I think I'm caught up on the non-dark laundry, as long as you define "caught up" by dry, rather than back in the closet or dresser. Fabian and CC are becoming buddies--she bumps up against him and he washes her head. She is quite the character. My pet sitter left a daily diary of what the beasts did each day. She's known Lady and CC longer than I have, since they came from the shelter where she worked. I guess I've know her at least twenty years, probably more. I expect to have a cat or two cuddling tonight--it seems to have settled into a fairly steady rain. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
