And I think I have worked out where I'll work and when.
Trying to find a place to park at Tulanae--within walking distance (for me) to the building--is borderline a lost cause at 10 AM. On the other hand, I have a lot of choice before 8 AM. So, I shall even out my work week by getting up--and leaving--at about the same time every day. I'll have two long days at Tulane/Newcomb and then the three short days at Xavier. I left Xavier about 10:30 this morning and headed for WalMart and the nail place. About a relaxing hour later I picked up a few groceries (including raccoon food) then headed home. The weather is cooling down a bit--daytime highs are in the mid to low 80s, and at night I generally have at least one cat cuddling close. I do believe that summer is beginning to abate. Of course, Betsy was in October . . . . I've made the usual vast plans for the weekend. And I shall probably let most of them fall by the wayside. There is a book about the discovery of the earliest Indian civilization that I want to read more of. It's quite recent--copyright is in the 2000s. Nothing to grade, but I need to get my grade book in order. I've got the names in it, but now I need to transfer such grades as they've gotten to it. That sounds like a PJ's type of job. Oh yes--one other thing I want to do this weekend--write up a brief bio on my mandala lady to go with the inventory. I've got a bunch of notes--just have to put them together. I don't think the Saints will lose this weekend--I seem to recall hearing that it was a bye week. Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
