And with two cats on or next to me I didn't wake up till almost 8 AM, when it was full light.

I must have slept well, because I actually had a household-productive morning. I got cat box areas all nice and neat, especially the front porch. And then I did some other semi-major cleanup.

Eventually, I took a nap. When I got up I headed out to WalMart so I could refill my gas tank and get a few things. I should be set for the next week.

This coming week has just two days at Xavier. I am almost finished grading the exams from last week, but I haven't really started on the paperlets (150 - 300 words.) I'll get the exams done tomorrow and get moving on the paperlets. The last class of the semester is Wednesday, and then their final is the following Wednesday. I'll be getting another set of paperlets on the last day of classes.

It's a good thing I don't do very much at all for the holidays! I must have gradually cut back when the kids had essentially left and I had returned to school. I do recall that Thanksgiving became a dining out experience, because who has time to do a big dinner with term papers to write and exams in three weeks.

When I was at WalMart this afternoon I bought some mixed nuts (in the shell). I put them out for my little friends, as well as the usual offering of dog biscuits. So far there have been no takers for any of the food, but it's still quite early. Once I put out a semi-soggy satsuma that seemed a bit overripe for my tastes. That went quickly.

This morning I washed the various afghans that have been on the couch and elsewhere. Needless to say, the dryer lint trap had enough cat hair to make at least one kitten. It's hard to understand how cats can shed so much hair and not be naked.

This morning I saw an ad for a "Paper Shark." It's a tool that supposedly makes it possible to break into those super-packagaed items wwe all love to hate. My pet hate is the HP ink cartidges that come in three-packs. By the time I finish getting it open, I'm lucky if I have only one scratch to show for it. I just may go ahead and order one.

And that's today's trivia from my IUL.
